This 1968 MACK CF-600 bearing chassis# CF611F(12)1017 is equipped with a 260HP ENDTF-673 Thermodyne 672ci Diesel engine coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission operating a centrifugal 2 stage 1250 gpm pump with a 500 gal booster tank. It was delivered to the Cumberland Fire Department in Alleganey County Maryland on 05/24/68. It was placed in service as Engine #1 and retired from service in 2004 as Engine #4. This is the 2nd of 13 known MACK CF-600’s pumpers to be built with a Semi-Open Cab. It is functional and can be seen on the muster circuit in the central east coast region.
